Internal transfers within your Personal Area on Exness

Internal transfers are subject to a minimum transfer of USD 1 and a maximum transfer of USD 3 000 000 per month. These minimum and maximum amounts apply to internal transfers to other clients’ Exness trading accounts but are subject to conditions such as a country of residence and the relationship between the two trading accounts. It is possible to make transfers between MT4-based trading accounts and MT5-based trading accounts, and vice versa.

To perform an internal transfer between your own accounts:

  1. Go to your Personal Area, click on the cog icon on any trading account, and then select Transfer funds.
  2. Under the Between your accounts tab, choose the accounts you wish to make the internal transfer from and to, as well as the amount to be transferred then click Transfer.
  3. A summary of the transaction will be shown, and you’ll receive an SMS/email verification code (depending on your chosen Security Type. Enter the verification code and click Confirm withdrawal.
  4. The transfer is now complete.

Internal transfers to other clients

To perform an internal transfer to another clients account:

1. Go to your Personal Area, click on the cog icon on any trading account, and then select Transfer funds.

2. Select the To another user tab.

3. Choose the account you are transferring from, the trading account number that you wish to make the internal transfer to, as well as the amount to be transferred, then click Transfer.

If it’s the first time you are transferring funds to that account, a notification stating - Note! You have not previously transferred funds to this account - will appear.

You can check the trading account number of the person you’re making the transfer to manually or match their email address with the trading account number (this is optional, but advisable). If the email address does not match the trading account number, you’ll see a notification and your request will not be executed.

5.The transfer action will now be complete.

Please note that any transfers made are subject to the exchange rate of the account currencies involved at the time of transfer. If both accounts use the same account currency, this does not apply.

Internal transfer restrictions

There are a few restrictions regarding internal transfers:
  • Internal transfers require the sender to have verified their account with Proof of Identity.
  • If the receiver of an internal transfer does not have a verified account, the maximum amount they can receive is USD 2 000.
  • To make an internal transfer to an account registered from a different country, the sender and receiver must have a partner-client relationship; therefore internal transfers between countries are not possible if there is no partner-client relationship between the accounts.
  • The payment method used to withdraw transferred funds must be the same as the method you used to deposit funds into your account.

Here’s an example:
You make a deposit with a certain payment service, and then attempt to transfer an amount to an account where that payment service is not available (usually because it’s unavailable in that country). In this case, the internal transfer request will be rejected with the appropriate reason stated.

  • When making a transfer to a newly made trading account, the transfer must not be less than the minimum initial deposit amount for that account type; for example, if transferring to a new Pro account, the amount must be equal to or greater than USD 200.
  • For certain payment systems such as bank cards, Bitcoin, and some electronic payment services (EPS), internal transfers to accounts in a Personal Area other than your own are not permitted.

How to withdraw funds after receiving an internal transfer on Exness

To withdraw funds that you have transferred into one of your other accounts or have received from another client, you (the receiver of the internal transfer) must use the same payment method the sender account used to deposit funds.

Here’s an example:
You deposit funds into one of your accounts, Account A, using WebMoney. You then send funds via internal transfer to Account B. WebMoney - the same payment method you used to top up Account A - must be used when withdrawing funds from Account B.
